“ALISA” CHILDREN’S VOCAL STUDIA
The group was organized in 1996. Her initiator is the composer Viacheslav Koushev, who is also General Artistuc Manager.
“ALISA” CVS has recorded five albums on audio cassettes:
- 1.“Rock lesson” (1997)
- 2.“When I am old enough…” (1998)
- 3.“Carneval” (2000)
- 4.“Singing and dancing” (2000)
- 5.“Children’s songs for Christmas and New Year” (2001)
- 6.”SING AND DANCE!” (2009 ã.)
They have also recorded a CD, "Music Box" (2000), with selected original songs by Viacheslav Koushev on the occasion of his 50 anniversary.
In April 2001, the Bulgarian National TV made a TV movie, Alisa in music land,
directed by Dimitar Sharkov, which included eight of the formation's best songs.
"ALISSA" CVS won the second prize at "Zlaten Izvor" (Golden Spring), the National Festival of Children's Popular Songs - Folklore Covers, in the city of Dimitrovgrad in 1998.
On its fifth anniversary, the formation was awarded a diploma by the Office of Culture and Intellectual Sphere with Capital Municipality for their regular appearance in the cultural life of Capital Municipality.
The group has appeared in many concerts, charity activities devoted to little orphans, the Christmas parties of the American Cultural Center and BBC - Center in
Sofia, the festival of the New Bulgarian Music organized by the Union of Bulgarian Composers, the festival after the name of Misho Tododrov in the city of Sliven, etc.
The Group took part in broadcast of the Bulgarian National Radio such as Ogi and the Seven Dwarfs and Sponge - Cakes, in 7Days Radio's Show Giraffe Land. It appeared on the Bulgarian National Television with Ever Green, a ten minute Bloc, Music News and Birthday Show; on New TV in music show such as Dance Rainbow and How Are You?, on SKAT National TV, DEMO Cable TV, etc.
The repertoire of "ALISA" is orietated towards pieces from the Bulgarian and world music of highest artistic value. The children are trained in professional, precise and non-ordinary interpretation of children's songs. We seek the specific weaving of modern popular tune and sounding typical of children's chorus. At the same time, young singers learn how to behave on the stage and how to move. They feel self-confident and develop as fulfilled persons thanks to the important concert appearances and recordings.
It has been existing as a non-profit association since 1997.
Singer's age is from 9 to 13 years. The formation recruits children from Sofia after a trial hearing and talk with the candidates and their parents.
